Return Policy

We know that ordering online can be a bit tricky especially when you are buying investment pieces like furniture. We make every effort to select and recommend high-quality products from reputable brands in your style board.

At Daakor, we carefully and thoughtfully select the brands we source from for your design concepts. While most vendors we work with accept returns, please note that you will be subjected to the vendor’s return policy. 

Where we can, we will indicate the vendor return policy on the product description. If the return info is not available on the product and you have questions, please feel free to reach out to us

Many of the items we present to you in your style board are returnable as long as they are in new condition, unused, unassembled and in original packaging including tags, instructions and other inserts. The return will be processed if it is within an acceptable time frame for the vendor. This time frame rangers from 7-30 days in most cases. 

Please note that you will be required to pay for shipping and handling of any items that did not arrive damaged. In addition, restocking fees may apply to some products and please note that custom products are non-returnable and non-refundable. 

To initiate a return, please contact us. All returns require pre-authorization, so please reach out to us to receive instructions prior to sending back your merchandise. 

Items that are Final Sale

Custom, made-to-order items are considered final sale and cannot be returned, cancelled or refunded unless damaged upon receipt. An item may be considered custom where we have chosen a colour, fabric, upholstery, finish, material, size and/or configuration on behalf of you for your design. It may be an item that has been handmade. 

Unless damaged when received, any large items like sofas, dining tables and other furniture over 60 lbos are considered final sale. 

We do not accept returns on bedding including sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases.

Please note we do not accept returns on wallpaper or wall art unless damaged.

Custom Products

Some of the items we suggest in style boards are custom products where our vendor partners offer numerous options to fit your needs. Such items typically include furniture, where you can select color, fabric, upholstery, finish, material, size and/or configuration.

Damaged Items

Please contact us within 24 hours if your order arrives damaged (this time limit is required for insurance purposes by many vendors). We will work with you to ensure a satisfactory conclusion. Most circumstances, your item will be replaced or repaired depending on the specific issue. 

We ask that you inspect the packaging and items immediately after you receive it and indicate on the packaging and/or paperwork if there is visible damage. You may also choose to refuse delivery of the item(s) if the damage appears severe. If you do not make note of visible damage on the package we cannot be responsible for product damage and will not be able to complete a refund. 

If your package arrives and looks severely damaged, you can refuse shipment. In this case, please notify us immediately and we will make arrangements to have a replacement product sent to you (depending on stock availability) or provide a full refund. 

If you receive a package that is intact but the contents are damaged, please keep the original packaging and contact us immediately. 

In order to process your claim, we will require up to five digital photos including at minimum one photo of the box that the item shipped in. Make sure to keep all of the original packaging material and your receipt!
